hello JerSi -and welcome and stuff.

if you are interested in getting peoples thoughts about this (not-a-skyline/or skyline related!) proposed bridge(!) in calgary check in at the Canadian City Proposals thread. plenty of opinion there.

p.s i'm all for the occasional funny/silly posts but it seems yours was clearly done in earnest -which is most disapointing to me .

That bridge will look better with Erickson's project a few hundred feet away, even if Erickson confused Calgary for Cancun. lol

I think Centre street will still be the bridge/skyline shot, especially once the Bow starts to take over that area of the skyline.

I'm not much for Edmonton's skyline but it looks really impressive with the Edmonton Indy in the foreground

Just for fun, what Eau Claire will look like with the new, blue towers...with a splash of red.

Poor Calgary tower. As the skyline grows, it's prominence and views diminish.

Beautiful renders, though!

Taken yesterday after setting a new record for the hottest day in Van:

Then today, that new record was broken. This was taken at about 8 or so, temp was still around 33 degrees:

If you look at the bottom left of the picture, you'll see a projection screen with a tv show being played on it. Some people on that rooftop patio set it up there to watch tv on a big screen outside tonight. They got the right idea!
