here's a different kind of construction project. Grouse mountain is installing a 65m high wind turbine at the top. it will generate 2million KW of power (20% of the resorts needs).

Very nice stuff happening in Victoria. I like!

The Montreal Concert Hall will also be a gem.

Look soon for a major expansion and renovation of Calgary's Epcor Centre for the Performing Arts designed by Bing Thom in the very near future.

Some photos of Peninsular Halifax's fourth crane this year. According to sources on the Trillium's thread it will grow another 100 feet when its about half built to complete the 19 storey building. Its currently around 200 feet tall (photos by me);

a new public art piece was installed recently at the convention centre. very fitting

I love it.

The Drop is 17 m (58 ft.) high and weighs 2,700kg and was designed by german artist Inges Idee for this international competition.
