An unusual view of Hamilton. This view is from the Concession St. area, the southern part of the skyline is blocked out by the Escarpment.

That's one of the best shots of Hamilton I've seen.

Yeah that's a nice shot. Hamilton doesn't get nearly the love it deserves.

Some new buildings would give it a boost, any chance of a new tallest?

True. Compared to most of the other major cities, not much new has happened in the last decade or two unless I am mistaken.

^Save the whole NHL stuff yes. It is one of Canada's hidden gems. Québec City has a similar problem but to a lesser extent, and Edmonton to a lesser extent. All three are dwarfed by Toronto, Montréal, and Calgary despite being amazing cities.

Just for kicks I cropped a photo I took today. Sorry about the crappy quality but its cropped from a non-zoomed photo kms away on the Mainland. I think it shows off some of Halifax's "unseen" towers (Young Tower, Gladstone, Welsford, Fenwick, Park Vic, Quinpool ect).

Nothing that impacts the skyline has been built in Hamilton for a long, long time, and it will probably be a long, long time before any new building impacts the skyline. Quite a few 6-12 storey buildings went up during the time I lived there, but Hamilton would need an office building of 20+ floors, or a residential of 30+ floors to make a difference.

Actually you are wrong, these towers aren't Concords Cityplace but waterfront condos.
Also the Concord Toronto towers are taller than the ones in Vancouver.

The picture below shows (most or parts of) the 13, out of 15, completed Cityplace towers

from urbandreamer @ urbantoronto

Here is another photo showing both the those waterfront condo's on the right and Cityplace on the left

I think you missed the joke on that "Vancouver" picture, Nite.

He just reversed, and squashed, the exact same Toronto picture.
