235 WVB from June 5th. I wasn't too sure about this building since I had only seen it on ssp, but I was in Chicago this past weekend and thought this building looked great in person.

This is a very cool building to see from all sides as it looks different from each elevation. I gotta admit, I'm a FAN!!!
I hadn't really seen or noticed the NE corner before. The chamfered corner is pretty unorthodox here, but I think it will be a nice deferential (or softer) feature for people walking through or lounging in the AMA plaza.
Wow - powerful composition. The atmospheric perspective makes it look almost archival. Very cool how the towers on either end mimic an open drawbridge.
Man this place is so awesome. It's almost like Hovey set out to make it as 'euro' as possible. Even the parking lot courtyard looks european with the pavers and just the general look. OOW is definitely one of THE best develops in area of the last _________ years.
^ Would you ask him why his buildings are more prevalent in the North Shore than Chicago (or at least its posher neighborhoods)? I wish we saw as much of him there as we do, say, Studio Dwell. (Then again, I wish we saw much more of both.)
His business is vertically integrated, correct? Would he ever just serve as architect to a project?
^Nice. EnV is doing is going to do wonders for that area. Also, I was able to catch a glimpse of 235 Van Buren today and the dark grey paint looks great, as far as paint goes.
