I think it's just film. They had the same color stuff above the front doors and it's been removed... I think.

I can't comment on the green white film on the upper HP exterior, but I can say that the interior of the front doors, elevator, # code boxes and a few other items have a thick green or white plastic covering. I'm not sure when they officially remove the shrink wrap. Folks have been slowly picking away at the plastic of the interior, but it's hard to get up on the roof. I doubt there will be any left by the time they officially peel if off

I was one of those folks that tried to peel off the white protective film off the entrance doors. Haha...I couldn't wait. The doors appear to be stainless steel, very beautiful I imagine once they're exposed.

You wont be laughing when some crazy on your condo board decides the one scratch on the door means you should replace the whole thing

Thanks Harls.
I was down at the office yesterday and was told that Mr. Casey has found some of the outdoor furniture from a place in Vancouver. He found some lucite chairs and garden globes that he is quite proud of. It's so nice to see a builder who cares and pays so much attention to what's going to look nice and not just the bottom line. I guess that's why Charlesfort is known for producing quality!

That's good to hear. Hope they're not from a flea market. I still hope he will keep his promise and put in that large Rockefeller Centre globe, 'cause those garden globes he found sound like some small garden decorative items.

The globes referenced were definitely decorative items for the roof top. I had asked about the garden statue and she said that she didn't know where they were on that subject. Let's keep hoping he will comes up with it.

It could be the final colour. Turquoise was big Art Deco colour, and one of the most famous buildings from that era, the Eastern Columbia building in Los Angeles is entirely in that colour:

from Wikipedia

BTW, they are converting this building to lofts. Check out their website. Now that's real Art Deco.
and awesome pool area in the roof deck:

It makes you wonder if that is a decoration or just the blinds

Yes, and it's nice. Much more spacious than I thought. And the elevator is quite nice, very art-decoey...

I will be posting many pix soon. Brace yourself...
