The guy on the bike is what my mental pic of mr x looks like.
That guy also did a really cool trick with a glass ball.

so whats up with the carpet in the old convention centre when u enter up from the escalators?? has that always been there?

Also, anyone have any pics of the outside from the underground street?

i love how the convention centre just lights up at night =)

here's hoping that the renovations to bc place will help it "light up" as well.

At the end of the hallway that connect the two centres just before the escalators is where the connection to the Fairmont Pacific Rim is, it's already in place and just sealed off until completion.

great canadian beer fest! ...or maybe not. "beer" & "ballroom" don't sound quite right together, & people probably like it outside in the summer

I agree with the comment that the new marina/floatplane terminal will detract from the dramatic nature of the convention centre -- and the views. Where exactly are they proposing to place this? Is this plan set in stone?
