I am glad Vancouver has stayed out of this one! haha. Now now everyone, while Montreal is obviously more developed than Calgary people do have to remember that this is a SKYLINE thread, not a livability thread, not an urban street scape thread, not an art & entertainment thread, etc... So while Montreal does have an overall denser urban fabric and arguably nicer streets scapes than Calgary, I personally would rate Calgary's skyline better than Montreal's. So while Montreal may win in almost every other category between it and Calgary, Calgary does win in the regards of skylines. People do not need to start bringing up other aspects and facts about their city that has nothing to do with the skylines. Vancouver also has a very large mid rise district to the east of downtown and a decent sized mid rise district to the south, but when talking about "skylines" those areas do not count, for the majority of those building are under 12 stories, only the "skyline" counts when talking about "skylines."
