I finally took a ride to the WTC site and the whole area is now buzzing with construction and cranes galore everywhere...

I was happy to see so much progress!!!!!!! HOOOOOORAY

I can't wait to go back in a couple of months!!!!

Me and the future Freedom Tower behind me!!!!

Is that a steel beam coming out of the street behind the no-smoking sign? If so wouldn't that be the first on that side of the building?

Don't know. I don't remember the width of the stairs going into the core either.

I saw a mention regarding the north side, I don't see anything new there except for the two small mystery columns rising from edge of the street.

There is a PATH route that will continue to run along part of the previous tower 2 footprint right? I'm sure its been mentioned on here before but I'm just making sure.
