^^^I was thinking that too about the planter boxes. But I suppose it will be rare to have a large gathering of people there (maybe on special occasions only). So they do break up the space a bit, rather than having a windswept empty plaza.

Near the end of Thurlow Street is supposed to have a rather large plaza on the west side of the new convention centre from what i remember.

That would be a perfect site for a summer concert series, with the stage on the south side of the plaza looking out towards Burrard Inlet.

yea think of those poor condo owners, we simply cant allow them to have to endure an entertaining summer concert series. As is they must put up with the float planes.

Think Malkin bowl would be a better location for summer concerts, considering that's part of what it's for, just needs some more money poured into it.

Although I could see this space used for some events I believe it was designed more for public inclusivity to be enjoyed by all, all the time.

I think they mean more like the concerts put on at Lonsdale Quay in the summer. A few local guys on a stage playing jazz or whatever. The end by the water is raised, probably so it can serve as a stage.

Where do you think they are going to put it?
I don't like it on the roof either. Let's make another guess!

Wouldn't they just hook a feed into the CBC or CTV building since it is existing infrastructure?
