It looks like an old TV screen to me. Maybe it should have been TVO's logo.

The last one, using a Canadian Pale and with the coat of arms reduced by about 15% would be perfect. Maybe use the slightly darker red from the current flag. I've never been a fan of the bright red of the Canadian flag. The coat of arms on a solid red field would also look good, like Alberta's flag.

Bahahahahahaha! Its just so political correct and something tells me that Dalton McGuinty would push for this! We need to spend another 200,000 to redesign it though!

Dude, there's hundreds of thousands of them between North Bay/Sudbury all the way to Ottawa and Eastern Ontario...

For me, it has to be Quebec and Nova Scotia hands down above the rest... (I'm from Saskatchewan so there is no bias on my part)...

Although I have to say I kinda like Regina's city flag; simple, yet still quite nice:

That's a great looking flag. Even better than the Montreal flag:

The fleur-de-lis, of the Royal House of Bourbon, representing the French.
(The original coat of arms on which the flag is modeled had a beaver in place of the lily until 1936.[1][2])

Lancashire rose, representing the English

shamrock, representing the Irish.

thistle, representing the Scottish.

Its not so bad, the main issue I see is that they tried to be too photorealistic with the image...simpler is better with flags.

When did they change it? Last flag I remember is the one with the city crest on it.

Looked much nicer!

I suspect part of the problem is that they hire designer to design the flag with no experience in heraldry and therefore, the flags they design look ridiculous.
