it would be great if one day when new residential that gets built downtown they would resemble to some of these terraces and Fort garry court and Leyland ...

Interesting to note that the recent copper cladding of the dome of the Vital Statistics building brings it inline with the original architects renderings

Good find on flickr, a photo of the Kuo Min Tang/Johnstone building on Pacific Avenue (which recently avoided a date with the wrecking ball), during the golden age of raw furs.

Where exactly on Donald? I assume north of Broadway, since the land where my apt. stands is where the home of the Pastor of Knox United Church once was (until the early 1960s).

The house across the street is a condo that was built in 1910.

intersting seeing the same store front styling as on this building

something i never bother to research is the meat shop a gr gr grandpa had in this city think his last name was grassy no clue how to spell the name i barely know anything about that side of my family his son my gr grandpa dony grasy (spelling) passed away in november at 95 he used to do the meat delivery's are a kid on his bike even in dead of winter would tell me... rod his bike till he was 92
