oh yep, 6 months of the year its cold and overcast (and some nutters still do outdoorsy cafes, and noone wears coats if theyre out drinking/clubbing at night either - a bizarre British trend that always kills people when it snows). If we're lucky the other 6 months will be tolerable, whilst summer end of May-start of September, theres no choice as theres no aircon. The sun rises at 4am and sets at 11pm on the longest summer days, and the pub and bar crowds spill into the streets.
funny you should mention that as he's someone I recognised. He used to work as a bartender in a gay bar in Soho 2003. I only realised when I loaded up the picture, probably on his way to work, though now gone and moved on to greener fields no doubt.
