sad to say for the first time in my 31 years I haven't seen a split second of CFL playoffs this year.
Thanks to the brainiacs running the league for putting all games on cable. Give me 5 years and I won't give a rip about the sport at all much like happened once baseball started doing this.
Some of these leagues are so inept. The NFL is the greatest league on our continent and every friggin game is on free TV including all playoffs and Superbowl.
Ahh well, at least I can tune into football tomorrow at 1pm if the CFL doesn't want me.

Sad as it would have been interesting...however I lament BC losing as I am tied to BC somewhat...and I naturally hate the Stamps...but on the good side I will not have to endure any ribbing from my BC co-workers this week...

Montreal's win will be good for the Grey Cup as you can now expect a full stadium for the Grey Cup.

People without cable are an endangered species. But it is true that CBC is doing this country a great disservice. CBC sports is in self destruct mode.

Calgary better watch out!
If the prediction is right, it will be the biggest attendance for a CFL game ever. The big O already hold the 5 largest crowds in CFL history and in a week the 6 largest

What an amazing Western final. Extremely entertaining. And best of all, a great result.

Honestly, I would have loved to see the Grey Cup Final be a "Battle of Alberta". The intensity would be terrific. However, if it were to happen I would imagine the league would not be too happy...having two teams from the same province in the final and thus, no representation in other regions probably would not be great for TV ratings.

Not to mention that if it has come down to a battle of alberta the olympic stadium would of been nearly empty!

Not really, 55 000 tickets were sold before the East final game!

Yes but that doesn't mean those 55,000 would attend...in fact many wouldn't!

And don't forget nicko, MOST of the tickets sold for the final were not bought by fans but by re-selling (ticket master etc...) firms and scalpers! The 55,000 tickets sold are probably up for sale on the web as we speak! That's how it works, sadly.

That was a great game between BC and Calgary yesterday. One of the more entertaining ones I've seen.

should be a good Grey cup game, even better if Calgary wins.

some won't, yes but re-read my post. Its well known that most tickets sports games and concerts are always bought en masse by re-sellers. In fact there was a special on RDI last week about this very issue.

Perhaps - although I suspect a lot of Albertans would have made the pilgrimage, just as the Sask/Winnipeg fans did to TO last year.

Just goes to show your knowledge of true CFL fans is lacking. Both Grey Cups hosted by Regina, were sold out well in advance, guess what the stadium was full both times, guess what not many tickets were scalped or resold. True fans support the CFL as a whole, not just a team or two.

Im basing what I said on a Radio-Canada report, what are you basing yours on?

And who said I was a "CFL fans"? whatever that means....
