Anyone have recent pictures of the building topped off and how tall it actually ends up being?

I took this the 25th. Its a much bigger building than I thought for 23 stories. (that white building lower left is 20 or 21 stories, for example)

I'd love to get down there to take more pictures... I get close... I drive on crosstown blvd on my way home every day and I always want to stop downtown, but when I actually get close I always don't feel like it cause I just want to get home...

Hey Wonderland Park....... nice pic. The reason that Three PNC looks big for a 23 story building is because it is 26 stories. Refer to post #160 and or #117. The first post has old information.

You should get a mod to change it to 26 stories. I always love the awesome Pittsburgh skyline.

I've messaged mods about including the height (360 ft.) in the thread title... but have had no response.

Now that PNC is supposedly on the prowl to make aquisitions, perhaps we will see more buildings from them in the near future....

Think about: PNC 1,2 & 3 plus the PNC firstside building downtown. Imagine if they consolidated that into a signature tower... It would be monstrous, challening the USX tower in size.

I'd rather they build 3 or 4 more of these type of mid-sized towers around town... Maybe a few in oakland, take advantage of the young workforce and graduates of Pitt and CMU for a research center or something. There are plenty of financial and accounting degrees coming out of there every year. Imagine buildings as big as this complimenting already existing architecture in Oakland.

Agreed; Oakland could use a couple midrise towers. Some more residential and commercial space along fifth and forbes would be used right up, I bet.

Hopefully PNC doesn't acquire National City (which is a faint possibility raised in this week's Pittsburgh Business Times)... that would result in thousands of lost jobs in Western Pennsylvania.

hmm, i was thinking that would be a likely target but I didn't consider the Pittsburgh consolidation that would likely imply... Good point Evergrey.

That's an awesome angle, burgh15. I love the shiny new green glass with the older building in the foreground with its steel staircase.
