Seeing how we are going into late fall i doubt will see anything now till spring.

That said, lets hope we see something but have a fear due to the economy we probably won't

I don't know about that. They could still start it in the next few months. My feeling is that they are waiting for the cruise ship season the end which should be soon although I did see two more ships in this morning.

The last cruise ship of the season is scheduled next Monday, so I expect to see some action next Tuesday morning dammit!

Regarding the boardwalk, probably so. I was stating more towards the development in particular.

Hopefullly i am wrong and we see it proceed as for the most part its a great development.

I don't want to get any hopes up too high, but I was walking along the water today and did notice that all of the light standards along the path through the site have been removed. This could be the first step for the boardwalk installation.

I think you're right! Today I saw that workers with a Maritime Fence truck have marked off and are installing fence posts to block off the "gravel boardwalk" and the outer third of the parking lot. It's a good sign.

That is awesome news!!! It will be so nice to have a unified bordwalk.

I'm going to be out of the city for at least another month, hopefully those of you nearby can keep me posted on the developpments.

Do youthin they will extend the boardwalk out so that there is water right off the side like by bishops? Or just put the boardwalk in the current location of the gravel pathway?

trillium has not started, they simply tore down the houses? Why pay tax on something not worth keeping?

i have heard they have good presale numbers. We could hope to see a crane in 2009 maybe....

Kings Wharf is just doing site work, nothing more is to come at this time.

based on my interpretation it looks like the boardwalk will be quite a bit further out than it is now. I did some quick calculations based on the scale in the drawing and current reference points from google earth. Looks like they will be out quite a bit past the rocks that are there now. Should be a really nice addition to the area.

hopefully this will be well under way by the time I get back.
