I agree with that as well.

You know, I kinda like how it looks in NYCLuver's second pic. The way how just the main part of the east facade is unfinished works well with the spire, and it almost seems like it could be a nod to the deconstructivist stylings of 4 Times Square next door.

I guess another way to prove how complex this tower is is that even taking into account that even nearly a year after topping out, it is still under construction...

Apparently there's still a lot more than the cladding that is still not done...

Can't forget the construction accidents that have taken place here, mostly falling glass. Each accident prompting stop work orders.

Looks like the total floor count is 60 or 61 if you include the mechanical floors. Even at floor 54, it still has the highest occupied floor compared to the Chrysler Building which I think is around 700 feet. BTW, fantastic shot! Looks almost computerized...

Actually the highest occupiable floor in the Chrysler is almost right at 900', 899 to be exact I believe.

I know that the crown of the Chrysler starts at 700 feet. I figured that above that is strictly mechanicals as well as ornimental.

I think it's becoming evident what the architect's desired effect was -- not groundbreaking, but dynamic and cool to be sure.
