Gang is doing a talk and Q&A next month here in Philadelphia that I have the privilege of attending. Anyone have any specific questions they would like asked?

^ Yes, I would really like to know what her thoughts are on this base. Why it is so utterly disconnected from the design of the tower except in one small area? Does this somehow reinforce her architectural concept? You know, the one about the box that isn't really a box ... or the "not-really-a-box" that really is a box.

If it's not entirely to her liking, was it the budget? Was it a lack of time? She's a pretty straight shooter, so you might get an honest answer. I'm very curious to know what the reasoning was. They might have thought that the tower was going to be so crazy, the base should be totally boring so that no one gets visual overload.

I can ask her that next week at the Crain's Chicago Business Real Estate Forum...

I of course will also ask about the rumored, Auqa II as well as the proposals for Hyde Park

57 is the transfer floor with the 20ft ceiling where you dont see any balconies...big mechanical floor. for example, this is where all are stacks change for the diffrent condo layout. lots of suspended piping......there is a 57 mezzanine but this obviously not to be confused w/58 which is the last visible balcony u can see before the tables. Any other floors, just remember that 4 is the first floor above the podium where the balconies start and 18 is the floor with a slightly higher ceiling
