^What would make it even sweeter would be another 30 floors + tower right next to the 400 on Bleury. The old rowhouses could be interfrated like les Beauxarts condos. Also that brick monstrosity directly across the street from the 400 should be torn down, a nice 30 + floor ought to be built in its place!
I got to admit I'm impressed with this building, at first the concrete slab and low overall cost (63 million $) curbed my enthusiasm but the windows and shape I like this tower. Plus it height (around 120m) really makes a mark, hell I can see it from Laurier/Parc!
We are very lucky to have seen this one go up, it might be the tallest building built here in a while!
And furthermore, The Sherbrooke "canyon" of buildings should continue eastwards. The small 4 storey plexes between Bleury and Jeanne-Meance should have taller towers built on top of them (whie conserving them of course) and the ugly-ass 20 storey towers on the north side of Sherbrooke further along near the 333 should be renovated/recladed.
Is that the ugliness that is the Colisee on the left-hand side?
