i know i'm new to THIS particular forum...i'm usually on the provo/utah valley board, BUT...

i was up in our capitol city the other day, drove by the developments and WOW!!! this one REALLY impressed me...

so, i decided to come over to this forum and let you know that it's going to be AWESOME when it gets finished.

i, like most of you, love to see the steel structure going in...it's just a sign of beauty to me. anyway, look forward to having more discussions with you all on this forum...

some names i recognize--others are new to me...so, i hope you don't mind having a newbie from provo on with you discussing our capitol city!

T-Mac: Your 222 So. Main pics are going to be a magnificent visual history of the project. As the building gets taller, your I love the perspective from the parking structure just east of the Well Fargo Bldg., giving the construction wonderful perspective. They are also stunning in the morning sunlight.

I love the pics on this forum. Just think in a few more weeks it will be taller than the Hotel Monaco, then you will really start to see it in the skyline.

That is me. I joined Emporis to work on getting some of the Utah info updated. They are sure having trouble with the City Creek Center towers on there and I have been trying very hard to update them on them but they just don't seem to be getting it.

I am going to try to go down there Wednesday morning. I tried on Saturday morning but didn't have time to get down the the tower. I only stayed around City Creek Center.

Here is a little update. Crews are now placing more beams on top. Looks like crews are working on floors 13 and 14. The tower now is about as tall as the Hotel next to it.
