Haha, I don't see how Seattle is racist, and I don't see how your 55% growth rate doesn't reflect existing conditions being depressed in anyway. I'm not denying the growth factor, either, am I? I also don't see how we're geographically isolated (Canada is an illusion and I-5 is a road to nowhere-- also, SeaTac only has flights running to Boise) or where our "standard bearers are falling on their faces".
I think we're getting plenty done at this rate-- instead of "Rain City", we might as well be called "Crane City"! Also, we could also be called Cruise City with 800,000 passengers expected this year. That's, what, half the population of the Greater Mobile Area? I think that's a lot of people for a geographically isolated city such as Seattle.
Now, tell me how gnawing at my leg when I'm offering helpful links is constructive in any way? If you were right, wouldn't you let bygones be?
