Actually talking about that, raggedy and I have been really lenient with that... it is our job to remind everyone that it is mandatory to source your photos [forum policy].

You mean the one BMW 750, that's now advertising Shangri-la Toronto which happens to be the same car the developer used during the Fairmont Pacific Rim sales drive? Nope never seen it.
Rennie's old car before the Bentley he has now was a 750.. maybe he's 'leased' or loaned it to his company.
Is this thing going to have lighting effects or something? I remember speculation at the beginning that the little squares would be able to light up and maybe even form an image somehow (although I didn't really believe it at the time). That sort of thing is starting to seem completely unlikely. But does anyone know what, if any, lighting effects will it have? Or when we'll be likely to find out?
Being 10 lights wide, it would make a half-decent tetris display. The tree boxes kind of get in the way but by that point you've pretty much lost already
haha no way! you cant give up there... you can still recover!

I'm sure there are a few people on these fourms who know what is in store regarding the solar pannels and the crown/architectural lighting... but dont you think they would have said something by now if they could? You are just going to have to be patient and wait until the news is made public.... if it makes you feel any better it should be close to christmas time when you might see it, so wont that be a nice little present?

I have to agree with you about the lighting. For sure it will be fully lighted up before Christmas.
great shots! the sail from the Melville looks attached to the roof of Escala in that last pic.
speaking of christmas and lights, i can't help but feel the LED lighting atop L'hermitage is too christmas like and it just doesn't work with the building. when they start blinking it looks particularly bad.
