It wasn't that people weren't attracted to it, the owner didn't know how to run a restaurant. I went there a couple of times they were out of half of the food on the menu, I hear he didn't even pay his employees on time he just ran his place like a ghetto crack house or something it deserved to be closed. Hopefully somebody who knows how to operate a business will move in.

I'm pretty sure the one in San Fransisco is not related to this one its too well run and known. This guy did have a restaurant in Louisiana I believe but I heard it was much better run than this one. I don't know why people think they can come to Huntsville and give us crap and expect us to support it.

I could have told you that this was coming months ago. I ate there one time with my family. the food was WAAAYYY over priced, the atmosphere was non-existent and the servers / workers were rude. I don't mind overpriced food if the atmosphere and service is good, but 3 strikes and you are out for me.

I love Conners and Dolce is good too. I haven't been to Ketchup yet. PF Changs is PF Changs...

Huntsville is just another city in Alabama that wants to remain the same and stay small, its not as progressive as it seems, research park makes it seem that way. In some ways its less progressive than even some other cities in Alabama, definitely Birmingham, I'd say even less progressive than Mobile and Tuscaloosa. Yeah Huntsville lacks charecter but I truely believe that Huntsville will change in the near future. I wish all the development in research park would have been downtown,just as I wish the hotel at bridgstreet was DT as well. The mayor of Huntsville has done a lot for the city. I was impressed with Huntsville when I first moved up there 4 years ago as a college student. I will admit that I realy missed the Gulf Coast culture but the people of Huntsville were friendly and welcoming. Mobilians arent that welcoming at all, lol !! Now that i`m back in Mobile and love it here(Mobile) Huntsville is still home away from home to me and will always be.

Wintzell's Oyster House has opened off U.S. 431 south just across the causeway from the city proper. It's situated on the water next to the Hampton Inn.

I hope they do well up there, now all you guys need now is a Felix Fish Camp, Original Oyster House, and Boiling POT(king of Po boys) and Guntersville will realy be in the game !!

I also hope they do well. It's a great restaurant. I love their gumbo (and the Dog River Po Boys but IDK if they're on the menu anymore). I've always heard how beautiful the Guntersville area is. Perhaps I'll have to visit there someday now that they have decent food.

Don't believe anything they say, the owner can't afford the rent in BridgeStreet they basically are being kicked out from what I hear. They will close within two weeks.

Oh that really sucks another empty store in Madison Square mall we already have a complete empty anchor there and they want to build a billion dollar development in Madison and Decatur as well as Constellation downtown and Harris Hills.
