finally saw shangri-la with my own eyes on friday...wow it looks pretty amazing, from georgia it looks so damn tall and slim, i took a few pictures, but i wont bother posting as we've seen pretty much every angle possible already and nothing really has changed in the past week. unfortunately i wont be here anymore for the crane removal

Pic by me today - you can see the temporary derrick crane (the yellow one secured by guy wires, looks like the boom still needs to be installed) that will lower pieces of the construction crane down to the street.

I think that window washer crane has got to put shangri la over 200m, if not surely has to ad height because it is above the building. Wish it wasn't there though...can't they hide it some how?

I think its only there temporarily just to remove the big crane

I don't know about any speculation. Also don't know if the window washing crane lowers into a cradle or sits where we now see it.
