Great photos. I love Phoenix in the morning. I don't know what it is, but the way the sun shines, it seems to polish everything off, and all the colors seem to stand out stronger. Thanks HX_Guy, really enjoying your photography, you picked the right time.

Love the angles and the colors in the downtown skyline that you captured. Nice job.

Great photos and I love the older stock of buildings. I think the first backside of an old brick structure is at the Luhr's Complex, the second one is the one next to the Hotel Monroe, the Golden West hotel, or something, right?

Man, first Loftlvor, now you, get down towards the west side of downtown. I had a couple pictures of that Smurthwaite House and Evans House I was saving... the Evans house is so cool and actually much taller looking in person, it's sad to know we've demolished plenty of homes like that.

Heh, funny to hear people say they love all the color downtown, just a year or two ago we were all saying how crappy all the beige and browns were.

PHX31: I agree, it's a shame we don't have more of those homes. I wish these two were somewhere that would be more usable, like Heritage Park.

Wow HXGuy,
I only saw part two earlier. Great pics.
I love what you did with Downtown Phoenix!
I love the zoomed and cropped views from where you get the skyline shots from on the other side of the freeway.

All of our new Modern buildings like Cronkite, Portland One, 44 Monroe and even the dorms and Alta are starting to make a huge difference in the skyline.

The red brick buildings sure are cool...
If the market was better I'd hope that a developer could go in there and make some Lofts out of them, as we only have Fontenelle, Fillmore and Orpheum so far to chose from if we wanted a true style Loft.
(pic #'s 48 and 27)

Thanks- your pics always brighten my day.
