^I've always wondered if the balconies on that building were part of the original construction or added later on. My guess is the latter.

Very VERY few pre-war skyscrapers have balconies, and if they do, they're usually pretty continuous with the facade.

Seriously? You wondered for very long whether a 1920s telephone company office building was originally built with basket balconies hanging on the outside, over the public right-of-way, where they would block the pilasters?

Does anyone know any updates on these 3 buildings? X/O, Park 1000, and Park Michigan. I havent heard any updates on X/O and Park 1000 yet, but last I heard Park Michigan was going to try and continue on after all of the legal battles they were going through. Just wondering if anyone has any updates on it. Park 1000 was like 60% sold so I dont know why it hasnt broke ground yet?
