On CH they said London Tap House will open next week. Looks great inside, lots of stones and bricks.

all the patio furniture was on the rooftop today. Chairs were upside down on top of all the tables. Looks like it's ready to roll. Anyone know the opening date?
Weather is going to suck all weekend, so no patio time until next week.

My friend got a job there, they are starting training next week (wednesday). I think we'll have to wait until after the May 24 weekend til it officially opens it doors for business.

I had a tour of the place last Wednesday evening. They still had a lot of finishing work to do and did not have their final inspection or liquor license yet. They where going to have a couple of test nights. Just staff, families of staff and invited guest to get the bugs out. They where hoping to open on this Thursday but it was only a 50/50 chance of that. They want it by this weekend but cannot open until the inspections are satisfied.

Highlights

First floor restaurant and bar
Second floor bar
Third floor bar and dance area
Roof top bar with it’s own washroom facilities.
Basement bar area, seats 75. Not opening until the fall.
Total guest around 1000.
60 cameras through out the building for security.
They have 30 radios on order for security and staff.
A burger $12.00

I finally walked by on my morning constitutional today, and the places looks fantastic. What a great renovation job! I can't wait to have dinner on the rooftop this summer.

There are people eating inside so I'd guess it's open.

they might want to invest in an 'open' sign or something...no indication of whether it's open.
Maybe their waiting until the trial runs are done.

^^ I was just down here and also noticed a couple people eating inside. Also, the Main St door was wide open. It looked like just staff tho, who knows!?

Most large restaurants have what they call a soft opening, where they invite a small number of people to dine free of charge to test everything and work out the bugs. I'm sure the grand opening will be quite the affair.

Yep, walked by today and looked in the windows. They had napkins and cutlery set out on the tables, so they're certainly expecting patronage very soon.
