Taken 4/13
Overview shot then close ups.

I tried to show some of the detail with the concrete formwork for the balcony and the pattern created by the rebar/cable.

Then on the other end the load bearing wall and pillar formwork.

and a close up shot of the glass

Right...I don't think the tops of the balconies look painted yet (except one)...

I had to slowly dig down with a chissle to carve out a hole.

But once a hole had formed and the concrete could move, the slab just fell apart.
I'd hit it with the chissle, and whole chunks would break off.

It really was amazing how different it was with tension and without tension.

Yeah, the reason it looks so nice in that photo is because the balcony tops aren't painted yet - that's bare concrete you're seeing. It doesn't look quite as good from below, unfortunately.

^ i don't get it either. i mean, i wouldn't argue with the bare (sealed) concrete if that's the way they decided to go with it, but the white paint looks great to me. i really like the sharp contrast between the brilliant white of the paint and the black window frames.

The strand is my friend!

^ If you just go back one page there's a picture with plenty of sky reflection and it looks very blue/white/black like the main render. From above the photos are darker looking, but I would assume it will look bluer as it rises into the sky and the white balconies can brighten it up too.

^ the windows aren't black. they have an aquamarine tint. the things holding the windows in are black, however, and they provide a nice contrast between the windows and balconies. im excited

The windows are tinted a bluish/green, but the reflection within it depends on what angle your looking at the building. It is glass after all, therefore reflective.
If you look at the photograph above you'll see on the left side, the window color. When did this ever look black?
