Chicago restaurants with view of skyline

Heading up to Chicago pretty soon. Any of you Chi-Town boys have any recommendations for Chicago restaurants with a great view of the night time skyline?

u might have better luck with responses placing this in city discussions, the Chicago boom rundown thread in city compilations, or even at skyscraper city in the chicago subforum.

You can try the Signature Room (top of the Hancock Center) for a decent meal and a 95th floor view, Everest (at the top of the Stock Exchange building) for a great Alsatian menu from about the 40th floor, or "Sixteen" which just opened on the 16th floor of Trump Tower (but it's along the river and apparently has a great view of the Wrigley Building).

I've been to the first two but haven't been back to Chicago since Sixteen opened. I have heard good things.

Just went to the Signature Room and have to say, the views just can't be beat...unless you have a before or after dinner drink at the Signature lounge one floor up

try the Signature Room at lunch time...that's when they have a buffet that is decently priced. It is an incredible deal.

Riva (Navy Pier)

there are a number of restaurants directly on the north bank of the river, west from Michigan Avenue to about LaSalle. They offer great Loop views across the river with the classical layout of both levels of Wacker Drive in front of them. You don't have to go high up to get a great view; street level (or even one level below) can work well, too.

The Park Grill. At Millennium Park. Faces directly out to skating rink with Michigan Avenue street wall directly across the street. Again..another great ground level view.

It's a bit off the beaten path, but North Pond at Deming and LakeView has fantastic food and a lovely view across the North Pond toward the North Michigan Avenue skyline.
