Those are cool. To be honest I hate the architecture but that's what it takes to sell them I guess...

Anyways, does anyone know any other sources about these? When I google for articles about NU in portland I get a bunch of mean-spirited conservative blogs lambasting the idea

Most of the suburban development is the standard stuff, but there are some really neat projects in there. Good for Portland.

I don't buy the hype over all these suburban developments. My jury is still out on how effective they really are in transforming the lifestyles of suburbanites, and in terms of materials and quality of construction, they're abominations. Nonetheless, I appreciate the thread.
