You know how I am a hound for finding projects guys, well, I found this...Its dated from October and November 2007, so fairly recent. It says that they were scheduled to close on the property in November of 2007. I am guessing that they didnt close on the property
If you read through the actual PDF you will notice that it has a lot of the same people/developers involved as the Market Station Development

Also, looking at those pictures of the mass models. It appears that this proposal would not have used the SLC RDA land. Its all on the intermountian furniture site.

The SLC RDA agenda says that the summit group (developer of the two 5-6 story hotels has an option to buy the intermountain furniture site) I would love it if for some odd reason it fell through.
two five story hotels is a horrible use of that land. I think the mixed use development site is a much better option.
I think we need to e-mail our SLC RDA members and let them know that something more exciting and dense needs to go in on that parcel of land.
