If you mean with the mesh around it, then yes, it'll be a terrace.

i had a chance to see this tower up close and wow. the glass is really amazing on this tower. and i love the almost, 80's feel the facade gives off. this will most likely be an impressive 700 foot tall wall of glass when it's finished.

question for you guys who know more than i do:

what is bracing the lateral loads on this building? in general, do composite frames have a greater shear stress tolerance than a typical steel frame?

^ 1. The core walls function as shear walls. 2. Depends on the "typical" frames you are referring to, but the only real answer is "not necessarily."

I guess I am the odd man out on the facade of this tower. The more of it that comes together, actually, the less I like it. I find the composition to be too flat, too little contrast, the apparent depth in the renders isn't really there, and I think the color of the glazing is rather icky. Just my opinion - please go on liking it. However, this design makes me appreciate the stainless facades that Goettsch and Adrian Smith have given us even more.

I think that as it gets taller, the depth will become more apparent as the setbacks are also more apparent.
