You cant use the two of thems population because dieppe is one them are two seperate towns put together .... Dieppe could join with memramcook and Riverview and they could be big two but thats not the point the point is it would take jobs out of saint john if they became a city because they would need to get the needs of a city ....
i disagree....comparing a KV amalgamation to Dieppe (which is what the original post was about)
requires that the additive population in teh KV be considered...I guess that's the whole point to why both Quispamsis and Rothesay have been seriously considering becoming one town (? someone correct me if I'm wrong --> but KV would then be the 4th largest city in NB) . . . . I dont think it's a matter of stealing jobs from SJ...i see it as capitalizing on an opportunity (only time will tell though)....as for the hospital, well, the SJRH is the single largest hospital (under one roof) in atlantic canada...plus, most of rothesay or quispam is only about a 10 min drive to the downtown core, so no, a dedicated hospital is not needed......it also brings a largest political voice to the area, which is good...As far as i'm aware, dieppe and memramcook aren't considering amalgamating....
i'm going to turn my attention back to posting around current projects, etc....*** lol...folks, we all live in the same province, let's try not to nitpick one another!!!!! ***
