Bay Adelaide keeps on adding more steel frame. (amazingly speedy rate)

Concrete Core seems to have stalled. However, the core narrowing will begin shortly which could be part of the reason for the hold up.

The winter shielding at the base will remain, even as the curtain wall glass is installed on the higher floors.

The base will have an intergrated historic facade which will not be assembled until later into the project. So in the time being, workers in on the lower floors will have element protection from this special shielding.

They're jacking the core framing up again today. That's only 6 days since last time they did it on Wed.

More panels arriving today under 2 police escort and a over width sign truck following them up Yonge. The panel say they weigh 3890kg each from the marking on them. Once this section is enclose, it will cheaper to heat was well, the worker will not need their winter coat on to work. It will help help to keep the steel warm when they start the pouring of the concrete floors. These panel will rise as the work move up until the spring when the good warm weather shows. Took a few minutes to clear the intersection of traffic to allow the truck to turn off Yonge.

Caltrane, you answered your own question. Bay Adelaide. It's taller.

This building is going up so fast,

I understand the reasoning for the plywood curtain wall, the crane hit a bit of it as it was unloading some forms off a truck i was there, would be stupid to break glass now when you can just plywood the first three floors which are prone to these sorts of accidents.
