I wish I had my camera.

From what I can tell comparing the construction to the rendering of the finished building, the building is topped out. They are still completing the structure of the roof, but it looks very close.

What a slick building this is turning out to be. Gotta love the port-o-potty on the top floor.

I tried to take a pic of that today.. my phone camera really does suck. I saw a guy tight-rope-walking on one of the beams, then he just sat down on it feet dangling.

I'm sure there are safety harnesses involved and what not, but still...it takes some serious balls to do that job.

The crane will disassemble its own mast, reversing the upwards process, until it gets low enough that they can bring in smaller ground based cranes to take apart the jib, cab, etc.

Also, looking at the picture with the "porta potty" I cant help but wonder who got the fine distinction of being the first person to take a crap on the top floor of One Lincoln park!

Does anyone know what kind of uses are contemplated for the ground level of 1LP? Restaurant, bank, bar, tacky t-shirt/cheap Western souvenir store?

I'm sure a coffee place will be involved, but beyond that I can't imagine.
