Curtainwall progress

Anyone been by the building this week at all? I'm wondering if they've started the normal curtainwall installation yet. I'm out of town till after the holidays and wont be able to keep track of progress

^ That's not a lot of water... and there is ample available from local sources.

I think the tank is carrying gasoline. The fireguard tanks are a kind of tank that is flame-retardant. http://www.ipstanks.com/fguard.htm

On the last page I mentioned there are seven. Here's the complete list. I have the large, high resolution shot so the sites farther away are easier to pick out.
  1. 300 N. LaSalle
  2. SoNo
  3. Silver Tower
  4. Superior 110
  5. Staybridge Suites
  6. One11 W. Illinois St.
  7. 353 North Clark

A restaurant will be adjacent to the lobby and a conference room is located above.

It's great that you caught that Harry!

This picture is interesting. I like how the curtainwall comes in to meet the edge of the red brick building next to it. But I'm curious as to what's going on with that concrete block wall on the tower. I wonder if they're going to clad over that, or just leave it bare until glass starts on upper floors?

Also, counting floors, the top of the core looks to be 30 or 31. So the core is half done.

Looks like the facade is going to be gorgeous. I don't know if it is the angle of the render or what not, but it is looking a lot thinner from the east/west sides than I had expected.

I was out today and it appears that the core is up to about floor 33 or so. I didn't count how many floors below the steel structure was.
