How many more Fairmont hotels does downtown Vancouver need? I kinda figured that the Waterfront Center and the Hotel Vancouver were enough.

This hotel's timing is unfortunate though. At almost any other time in Vancouver's history a 44 story hotel would get a lot of attention since it is about the same height as the tallest office towers. Too bad it is getting largely ignored due to the Ritz-Carlton and Shangri-La going up at the same time.
