Agreed, Top of The Park. OLP looks awesome, and I really hope that more buildings rise up on the current sea of parking lots in the area... I don't care if they're skyscrapers, or simply a bunch of 5-15 story buildings, but those lots are disgusting the way they are right now...

So from the looks of things this morning, the building should be topping off now for the Elevator Core and the Penthouse, I am assuming that the Roof should be going up soon? I hope? Someone really needs to get picks of the structural roof being assembled. That is a MUST! LOL

Who would actually sit there and wait for that moment to happen. I haven't been downtown in well over three weeks. From the looks of my schedule, it looks like the next two weeks may be out of the question.

I didn't see the roof being assembled at all when I was there this morning, but I did snap some pictures anyway.

I'll be back out there again around lunch - I'll see if I can find anything out about the roof...

And thank you for the pics Mulligan, so no assembly of the Roof eh? I'm sure they are close though, maybe mid January? Or possible Early February at the latest. I can't wait until we have Four Seasons getting close to topping out!!! WOW and just imagine what might be in the works when that day comes sometime what? Late 2009? Maybe early 2010? Definately! The whole Uptown neighborhood is experiencing a boom. The influx of new residents is just what was needed for downtown.

Hoping for a good retail outlet at Redpeaks development at 18th and Logan.

I moved into the Uptown neighborhood last summer and love it. Close enough to walk downtown with ease. There are lots of little things going on that nobody is going to report. For example, a new wine bar is opening next to Las Margaritas on 17th. My building has seen a lot of turnover with I guess about five or six people doing renovations and moving in (out of 24 units). The people who moved out were mostly older folks, and the ones moving in are younger. So, I think there is some real vitality going on Uptown behind the scenes. 1LP will definitely contribute to that.

This was taken on my phone, through the windshield and it was snowing...so I apologize for the horrible quality. But it looks like the first arched beam is in place for the roof.

I'll bring my regular camera with me tomorrow and see if I can get better shots. I should be able to get some good updates from my office as the roof goes on.

It's pretty incredible that OLP is almost ready to top out. After this project started rising from the ground, it really went vertical rather quickly.
