Harry, in your series of pictures of the workers hanging the glass panels, how long did it take for them to do that? Just curious about how fast they can get the facade up. Thanks.
14 minutes from taking tape off to hung. This one was problematic due to the crane tower.

Those contrails are caused by the temp at around 30,000
feet being -44F and the humidity also being high at
that altitude.It just shows how heavy air traffic is around Chicago.

I really like how this project has been utilizing the river. I mean, since the start, there's been a barge dockside transporting goods and materials. I hope the Spire site does this.
If at all possible, can someone get some good pictures of the normal glass in the day, I can give this guy a more accurate diagram
I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "normal" glass. I've been told that workers are currently installing spandrel glass for the mechanical floor. Are you looking for a picture of the transparent glass on an occupied floor? I don't believe any of that type has been installed yet, but I'm sure harryc or I will capture it when it does go up.
Oh. It seemed to me that the glass on the back was different from what was going in on the front. The renders led me to believe that it would be silvery-bluish, but I wasn't really sure.
I was actually suprized that the spandrel glass was a green as it was.

I don't know why Trump never did the same thing [get a barge]. Seems like the best way to get large amount of supplies to the site, without the worry of traffic.
Barge rental is quite expensive. I think there are only 1 or 2 firms that do it so they have major pricing power. I'm sure Trump considered it, but found it not to be worth the cost.
