Progress on this one is quite rapid. When I was near the site last week the structure is already very visible from all around.... its starting to dominate its neighbors on the north side of the river.
Except of course on days like this, the fog is thick as pea soup right now. I just got home and in some areas you almost need instruments to pilot your car home!

Steel construction tends to be nice and quick like that. Nice to see a few steel frame structures go up, considering all the concrete buildings that have been going up lately.

I totally agree. It almost seems as though all these buildings are concrete; this one's a pleasant diversion from the norm.

Law firm poised to move local office

Quarles & Brady LLP has signed a letter of intent to lease as much as 75,000 square feet in the skyscraper under construction at 300 N. LaSalle St., a high-profile move for the Chicago office of the Milwaukee-based law firm.

...The letter of intent comes less than month after J. F. McKinney & Associates Ltd. took over leasing the remaining space at 300 N. LaSalle, which would be nearly 85% leased after the completion of several pending deals, including the agreement with Quarles.
