Rush Children's Hospital is already in the IMD. Children's says they're excited about the clinical possibilities of being next to NMH, sharing some facilities, having various specialists right at hand, etc. I think another motivating factor is where young doctors get excited about working, and Streeterville beats the West Side.
I hate to make too much of it, but I also have questions about the helipad, which will be right at the base of windshear coming off the lake and straight down Water Tower Place, or westerlies funneled between Olympia Center and Park Hyatt.
