It looks amazing from Robson, better than expected even.
What really impresses me about this building is how it looks thin from almost every angle. The triangular shape was brilliantly executed.

They're currently working on 52 of 59.

Assuming Newway is forming a floor every 4 days as suggested in the video Delirium posted, it should be topped out the week before Christmas. (not including mechanical on the roof or the glass fins on top)

even though it's at 52 of 59, don't forget the 4-storey rooftop mechanical structure following it.

Using the large numbers posted next to the lift on the building - the highest number being 48 - they are on 53. I count 5 floors above this sign. I thought these numbers represented the elevator floor counts - ie 1-61. So 53 of 61.

Exclamation

my first digital pics of Shangri-La!!! yeah!

this first pic is from the Harbour Center Lookout at 440 feet above street level. I wanted to climb onto the roof and climb atop the Cell Tower but I'll leave that to the BC Lion's Western Final where I'll get onto the dome roof to fly my Lions flag!

a very pretty sunset from 440 feet up!

Awesome pictures, towerguy3. And here I thought the Melville was a tall building....Shangri-la really puts everything else into perspective - short stuff.

Whats going inside the 2 steel buildings on top of the podium, with the concrete columns inside, it doesn't look like there'd be much space, is it just an atrium going into the podium.
