I think I heard about a gas station and convenience store going in there, which would be absolutely retarded given the location

Not downtown news...but I just noticed today that the Days Inn hotel in the eastend is adding on a big extension.

I guess the hotels must be doing pretty good with low vacancy so maybe the rumour of new hotels downtown isn't too far fetched.

The Budget Inn! Yeah, it's pretty massive. I believe that those will be apartments.

I think the worst development has to be that set of offices across from the Rugby CLub.

WOW.

@youngregina. Entertaining. I don't think I had seen the view from the Delta (Renassaince) for more than a decade.

@CCF. Yes, the Rugby Club commercial area is mmm-mmmm-bland. The little set of residential over there is pretty disconcerting too. Given it's location I wouldn't really have expected much, but it's so, so, so, unexciting.

Looks like some nice fog this morning. I think I'll head out in a half hour and see if there's some interesting material.

I don't believe they have been released yet. Mind you, the only place I would know to check is the architect's website, and there's nothing on there in regards to this project.
