i just have to say - was driving down broadway thursday around 4-5 pm ish

at a little cafe just near the older london drugs i had to do a double take - some street bum had his you know what whipped out taking a piss next to the tables at some cafe

as people walked by - one woman had her little girl with her - and when others realized the stream of wet was from the dude with his schlong hanging out they scurried past - he was peeing towards the street

gotta love this town

oh and later that night we saw some dude on the side of the street somewhere downtown peeing right out in the open - this time back towards the street at least

^That kind of thing happens everywhere, not just here. Bums have no place to go so they go on the street, although not usually facing the street and the general public. Most adult men have the decency to find a corner or a bush to piss in, but sometimes you just gotta go where you are. And I think everyone as teenagers has gone through the "I don't give a fuck about anything" stage in life when you're most likely not going to care about public indecency.

there was a bum peeing at my doctor's office tower elevator a few weeks ago. i was on the main floor waiting for the elevator, the doors slided open, and there was this guy with his weiner out and peeing all over the elevator floor.

What the hell?!

The bleeding heart liberal in me wants to say that those people are sad, maligned souls who need our compassion and assistance and how dare we judge the extremes they need to go to in order to perform a basic bodily function.

However the responsible adult in me says what the hell?! There is no excuse for peeing on a cafe table in broad daylight on a busy street or using an elevator as a urinal, none. Those guys are assholes and their position in life is no excuse for boorish behaviour. They may have chosen to ignore a basic human courtesy of not urinating and defecating where ever one chooses but I don't see why the rest of us should forfeit the benefits of this social compact. They should have called the police and the guy should have been put in the drunk tank for a night, whether he was intoxicated or not.

However, with that said, this city seriously lacks public washrooms and that only exacerbates the problem.

i was sick, had other things in my mind, was busy, and didn't have a cell with me. three other people also saw it, one was cursing out loud at the hobo. another elevator opened, the janitor walked out and i got in and the doors closed....went up to my doctor's office.

Seriously though, that doesn't compare to when I looked out my kitchen window one evening to see family members relieve themselves, one by one, behind the fence of my backyard....

Well they are working from end to end.......so the Western End where the crane is at Denman......is excavated and they are forming the underground parking.
