Holy —!!! That's the fastest hole-dig I have ever seen! I guess that's what happens when you have over 350 million in financing and three dumptrucks on the site at once. And if I look at other pictures, it appears that SIX different trucks were on-site just in the time CPVLIVE took these photos...Die Hard III convoy style! Go baby go!!!

CPVLIVE, I am overwhelmingly tempted to put your shots on the world construction thread. Don't hate me if I do...I will credit you I promise. But the world needs to see these!

Franco - You may use my photos in any manner you choose. At the rate they're moving they'll be completely outdated by next week. I was there for maybe 15 minutes and those trucks were pulling in every couple of minutes or so. The activity at the site is impressive.

That is one big hole. Just think, a couple of months from now and that thing will start rising from the ground.

I was fooling around on the SSP diagrams, and brought up Four Seasons. The diagram says the roof is at 172 meters, which is a healthy 565 feet. I think we knew that. BUT, it says the spire tops out at 198 meters, which is 654 feet, 19 feet TALLER than we have been thinking. Can anyone elaborate?

The latest information I have on it, is as follows:

It is currently designed to top out at 562'-5" to the top of the highest lantern level, with the spire extending above that for a structural height of 635'-9".

See:
http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/showthread.php?t=132789

It was originally a 60-story design. It was then scaled back to a 50-story design (which is were the 654' is coming from). It's final reduction brought it down to 45-stories and a 635'-9" structural top.

And the original Design was simply stunning! To say the least, don't get me wrong the current Design will be breath-taking but the Original Proposal was something that would have truely "Identified" Denver for the years to come...

Oh well I have a feeling that day is very near, Denver's identity will become MUCH MoRE than it is now!!!

Four Season's will definately leave a worthy imprint upon the skyline. It will be virtually be unobstructed from the south and west.
