It's good to be back, with new renderings...

^^^They increased WTC2 by 11' but scaled down WTC3 by 15' (officially), but that doesn't make any noticeable difference....
(In a sense when they increased roof height of CS from 1450~1600' to 2000', THAT made one hell of a difference)

Anyways, the new renderings look cool !

It's a good rendering, the best we've had so far. What's also great about it is
that we now can see the relationship (designwise) more closely between the
towers. It's a family again, and it will dominate Downtown more than ever.

Also, note the Goldman Sachs building in the model pics. West Street will be a new mini-canyon,
especially when the new residential towers get underway...

Remember

Today is the day folks. Let us not forget those who suffered on this day in 2001, and remember those who are working to make this world a better place. Take a little time out of your schedule today to pay your respects.

GOD BLESS AMERICA

Each new rendition of the FT provides better detail for the spire - and I like it more with each evolution of the design.

Man, that rendering makes the whole thing look truly fantastic to me. I'm finally really impressed and can't wait to see it rise.

We're about half way there. Half way between 9/11/01 and when the new towers are completed.

I love the new renderings. The base of the spire on FT is a BIG improvement in my opinion. I never really warmed up to the older design that looked like a bowl. This is much better, almost like a jeweled ring.

Fantastic to see the progress on site too!

gone it seems is the color change of the facade as you went higher on tower 2. according to that render. they also didn't mention it during their presentation a week ago. sucks. i thought that would have looked interesting
