Only in a city such as Chicago with so many supertalls either existing or in development could such a project be overlooked...Only when this building makes a presence on the skyline will people notice it. With Trumps tower going up and the Spire progressing (so far, future financing?) Waterview will remain in the background.

I like the broader columns in that last picture, I think it will portray more stability for a tower of this height.

^ yeah, i finally bought a camera back in may. i've been posting construction pics and photo threads sporadically since then. i'm no "solar wind" or "i am hydrogen", but i do my best, thanks for compliment.

Up a story is confusing??? are you serious? I'm guessing they will try out this new invention called an "escalator" or they might get real crazy and have an elevator stop there. A cafe on the second story is a much better idea, because you can most likely see the water from there.

man, look at how much skinnier it is than the R.R. Donnelley building, and yet it will rise about 400 feet taller. yea!

Well, the bottom Image posted above is from the Waterview Tower website. Remember, that the western face is thicker than the more slender eastern side of the tower that you're used to seeing.

But they're REALLY styilized. Look at the height of the surrounding buildings in the second one. WAY out of proportion.
