Hey, looking great!

Tip: I'd recommend that you use the best quality textures you got on the GalCorp building, as it's the tallest building in the city, and it'd help make it look even more impressive.

I was blown away when I saw how clear those textures were on the buildings representing the WFC. Nicely done Patrick. And thank you for that overview of the city on the last page.

Keep it up. I was glad to see some pics of the city!

The building with the "SAB" ontop reminds me of the original 7 WTC and the building infront of it reminds me of the (art-deco) Verizon Building.

And do not give the city up!

To Busy to update these days! I am SLOWLEY working on a new district near the area of that last pic. Staunton is still alive, barely.

Yes, the Security Atlantic Bank Building (SAB) and the building next door is based off of those two. I'll show a shot of the SAB Building soon, its one of my favorites (The front is much more detailed).

How about some "profiles only" cell shaded style shots like you used to do? Those were great.

I think if you moved towards rowhouses and low-er rises to the North you'd make some gold. The rowhouse areas of Jefferson were excellent, I think you'll find it takes less fatigue than you may think making such neighbourhoods (it takes a lot of textures though, but for rowhouses you can make several variations off of just one texture, ie different colours, more floors).

You know I'd LOVE to do that, but its so time consuming, I need to make a new grid for Jefferson and Outer downtown (A Midtown is probably on the way!), It would be Downtown > Rowhomes (Soho, Tribeca, Brooklyn Styled) > Then an mid sized skyline of Midtown, no Towers over 750 feet or so, probably mainly 1930's towers, like pre-war Detroit?

This could probably be done in Fall Brake (October!).

WELL, I havent done this a while, showcaseing a new tower, but this one has been in the works for months, Started it yesterday.

The Sherri Hutchinson Plaza

Sherri + Hutchinson Real Estate, a Hutchinson City based company had plans for a Regional Headquarters in Downtown Staunton. In 1981, Land was sparse as the 80's Boom was kicking in, Sherri Hutchinson chose a large peice of vacant land outside the docks near the Under Construction Cannery Park West. The Tower, envisioned to be 670 Feet Tall, would simply not fit on the selected land parcel, so Sherri Hutchinson bought the empty peice of land across the street and solved the probelm: A Large Office Tower built above Westly Avenue. The Base, which would cover two blocks and hang over Westly Avenue had to be home to Lobbies, and Parking Space. A Mall, was added to the plans, doubleing the size of the project, but outraged neighboring businesses.

Galviston Steel supported the Project, Mayor Approved and the Project was voted a YES by City Council. Construction started in 1983, completed in 1985. Instantly disliked by neighbors, as it was clalled a second PANAM disaster. BUT as time passed the project proved sucessful, 1986 Sherri Hutchinson bought a 3rd Parcel, which was now home to a popular park. The Tower today is easily reconizable as it literally hovers over Westly Avenue and the Sherri Hutchinson Park & Ice Skateing Rick is a popular city Attraction especially for the residences of Cannery Park West.

The Base isnt done yet, pics soon.

All its sexyness.

I love that new building. That doesn't seem 670 feet tall but from the looks of those windows, I'd say it's pretty tall.
