Otis1,
I don't mean to sound like a Smart Alec, but at least you guys get some exercise and your are getting paid while at it. In addition when you get home your significant other can't complain that you are sitting in front of the computer drinking beer and eating pretzels, instead of accompanying them in working out.
Seriously though, just the other day they were doing some maintenance work on the elevators and as a result elevators were running very slow. I was fed up and decided to walk up 11 stories (probably about 150 feet, if the avg. ceiling height for an office building is 14 feet). Well, the first 7-8 floors were fine, but the last 2-3 were a bitch. I know I was climbing pretty fast b/c I wanted to beat my coworkers who were keen to take the elevator (and I did by 30 seconds

) but in college I could run up and down the stairs all day without breaking a sweat. I guess I need to get off my butt and get some exercise and stop polluting this threat with OT nonsense.
Otis1, again thanks for the insight and to Solarwind & harryc, thanks for the pictures.
