That is such a shame that two firefighters lost their lives.
Damn it, how much longer are they going to keep screwing around with this old hulk? Implode the damned thing before anyone else gets hurt. I wish they had just let the damn thing burn to the ground.
^Implode a toxic tower in one of the world's densest downtown neighborhoods? How's that lessening the chance of someone getting hurt?
This tower has been taking way too long to take down, but I'm all for slowing down (though it hurts to say that, after so many delays and years of waiting for it to come down) the demolition process if it means more safety and less screwups that lead to tragic incidents like these.
Omg that can't be true! Someone wake me up. How much this will delay (de)construction?
At this point I want them to make the area safe so no more people get hurt. That is just horrible that those two firefighters died. That whole area is death strucken.

That damn ugly eye sore should of been demolished/exploded
Weeks after 9/11 instead of dismantling it screw by screw.
Two fire fighters lost their lives for fear that knocking
Down the bank in a few minutes might bring awful memories
Back to local residents. To the residents take a long weekend
Off, blow that stupid building up and stop this method of
Madness.

They couldn't implode it because of the fact that the tower was contaminated with cancer-causing asbestos and other toxins which could have gotten into the air and would have made an aweful lot of people sick.
The only other option is to do it like they're doing it now - piece by piece.
Sadly, it was inevitable that tower would cause more harm.
