Could you clarify this "bottom crawler" crane. I'm a bit confused by what you meant. If it lifts the entire crane, why does it not insert another form for the tower to grow?

Well vexxed, you contradicted yourself in your question. I did not say bottom crawler, i said bottom climber. and it lifts the tower onto a new floor and then sits on that floor. so no need for extra sections. you gain height by sitting on a new floor, higher up.

I was also in the sales center several weeks ago, and I was told that there is quite the waiting list for the Arquitectonica Tower is several hundred people long, so I don't think that there will be an issue of this project being built.

Also, the sales center should be moving soon from the trailers on upper Wacker. I belive that they will be moving to space in the Regatta.

^ That's stupendous. Good to see another tall one south of the River. Besides Waterview, it seems like North of the river's been getting all the excitement recently (Spire, 300 N LaSalle, 353, Trump, etc)

Could this be Aqua 2?

I found this image on the Studio/Gang website. The left side of the picture shows two towers. The tower on the right looks like Aqua (the view/perspective you'd see from a distance). Notice the emerald tower to the left of the speculated Aqua skyscraper. Could this building be Aqua 2?

Again, Aqua 2 has nothing to do with Aqua and shouldn't be called that... They are SO far away from even hiring an architect for that plot that its not even worth mentioning it... The next building in LSE is Arqitectronica and that will take at least a couple years to get through to the point that Aqua is at now, I can guarantee that what you see there is no "Aqua 2" since the developers are probably at least a year from even picking an architect for the next site they want to develop,which we don't even know will be the so called "aqua 2" site or not...

^^^ Yeah, don't get me wrong, I think it would be sweet to get another studio Gang of this size somewhere in Chicago, but they just aren't that far along with the site in question. Personally I hope that Gang in Hyde park gets built, amazing...

Don't be suprised to see site C (arqitectronica), in a year from now,to be around the same point as aqua. The design is further along than you may think.
